[UPDATE] SF Storyworldsfull name / name of organization: Gylphi Press contact email: P.A.March-Russell@kent.ac.uk SF Storyworlds is the critical studies series published by Gylphi Press (UK). We are interested in all aspects of science fiction studies, principally 20th and 21st century, and covering all forms of media - literature, film, TV, radio, graphic novels, video games, etc. We are looking for monographs, essay collections and conference proceedings to add to our growing list. Our first publication, "SF across Media" edited by I.Q. Hunter and Thomas van Parys, will be published later this year to be followed by David Ian Paddy's "The Empires of J.G. Ballard", with further titles from Carl Freedman and Nicholas Ruddick. Other projects are also under consideration. Suggested topics might include (but are not exclusive to): *generic definitions in sf - including such areas as 'slipstream', 'interstitial' and 'New Weird' fiction Proposals should include a rationale, a detailed table of contents, the intended readership, the known competition and a time for completion. A sample chapter, or similar material, is also welcomed.
