This winter SOUTHERN STUDIES will publish a special issue dealing with issues of recent scholarship on southern history, literature, and culture. The issue will feature articles, bibliographic information, and many reviews of recently published monographs. The editors of SOUTHERN STUDIES invite scholars to look at the current books available for review at

http://socialsciences.nsula.edu/books-available-for-review,

and submit an email to the book review editor, Dr. James A. Crank at cranka@nsula.edu with their top three choices for books to review. Please include in the email a current CV, and place in the body of the email your mailing address. The journal has a hard deadline of August 15th, 2012 for all completed book reviews, so we are ideally looking for reviewers who can submit their selections by July 1.

If you have questions, direct them to Dr. Crank
