After Postmodernism: Essay Collection
An essay collection on the current state of literary theory based on the notion that Postmodernism is waning or that postmodernist discourse should stand aside. Postcontemporary theory, hybrids and revisions of postmodern discourse, critical methods that simply eschew postmodernist ideologies (e.g., Affect Theory), figures or works that transcend postmodernist discourse--any and all ideas are welcome. Chapters nearing 25 pages would be best; book contract is assured. Send inquiries to email cited above. Target date for completed essays is December 15, 2012.
