Reflections on the Future of Native American Studiesfull name / name of organization: Jessica Bardill, NEMLA 2013 contact email: jessi.bardill@gmail.com This panel invites scholars to think through texts that have contributed to the past, present, and future of Native American Indian Literatures, particularly in how they help to understand the cultures, economics, and politics of different Native American tribes as well as how they contribute to the future of these critical areas in Native American Studies. These applications of literature could include public policy, education, representation in film, or other literary studies.
