Individual papers and panels are now being accepted on topics related to European popular culture and literature for the 34th annual Southwest/Texas Popular and American Culture Association to be held in Albuquerque, NM. Papers and panels that connect to the conference theme of “Celebrating Popular/American Culture(s) in a Global Context” are particularly welcome.

Scholars, graduate students, teachers, and others interested in European popular culture and literature are encouraged to participate. Graduate student presenters are eligible for travel fellowships and award opportunities for best papers. The Euro Pop Award is a particular award in this subject area presented to the best paper on a European cultural issue. See http://www.swtxpca.org/documents/48.html for more information.
