*Metaphysical Dirt: Teaching Thoreau Outside*

This panel offers teachers an opportunity to reflect upon effective
strategies and practices within or outside of the classroom for teaching Thoreau through a multi-disciplinary lens. Papers that describe challenging students through practical engagement with Thoreau’s wide array of practices and corpus of texts are encouraged.
