> Graduate and undergraduate students from all Universities
> and Disciplines are welcomed to submit proposals!

> strongly encourage submissions that touch upon any of the
> following themes, however, papers exploring other relevant
> topics and issues are also strongly encouraged:

Interested participants should submit an abstract (up
> to 300 words) that includes institutional affiliation,
> academic level, and contact information by Friday, December
> 7th, 2012.

> You will receive a notification of the selection
> committee’s decision by December 21st, 2012. Full
> conference papers will be due by Tuesday, January 28, 2013.

Please submit your abstract as well as the full
> conference paper to dblac023@fiu.edu.
> This will allow for a thorough review by the panel
> discussant prior to your presentation and guarantee you
> detailed feedback; this element of past conferences has been
> beneficial to participants by helping them to refine their
> research questions and to develop their papers into
> publishable form. Those who plan to use alternative formats
> for their presentation are asked to contact us earlier so
> that technological accommodations can be made.
