Revista Liberia will be publishing its first issue in May 2013.

Our first issue aims to discuss the intertwining discourses of

history and literature. We would like to explore how Cultural

Studies and Cultural History merge and diverge: how recent

academic cultural research seems to be closely linked to the

ideology of postmodernism and its conceptualization of

“history” -from its thesis of the end of history to its apparent

disregard for the historical dimension of cultural phenomena.

We are also accepting open topic essays, reviews, and

interviews.
