CFP: [Cultural-Historical] Multicultural Conference:Power of Framing/Manipulating Perceptions
The framing of the advertising product, the figure in a photograph or
artwork or film or biography or political campaign, the space in an
architectural or interior design, the Other in regards to ethnicity,
nationality, religion, gender, sexual orientation, disability and/or
other subjects often serves to manipulate public perception.
For the 15th Annual Multicultural Conference at San Antonio College, we
invite papers and presentations that interpret the power of â€œframingâ€,
i.e. the use of framing in academia, the arts, business, economics,
international affairs, literature, politics, popular culture, and war.
