Call for papers for a Special Session panel for the 2014 MLA convention in Chicago (Jan 9-12) on the topic of “Early Nineteenth-Century Lecturing in the U.S.” Lecture culture prior to the Civil War, especially New Media approaches, history of the book, rhet-comp.
