Inviting paper proposals for panel on Poetry & Poetics. This is a general call for poetry scholarship for a standing session of the PAMLA annual conference.

The Pacific Ancient & Modern Language Association is the Western regional affiliate of the Modern Language Association. PAMLA is dedicated to the advancement and diffusion of knowledge of ancient and modern languages and literatures: http://www.pamla.org/

The 2013 conference's special theme is "Stages of Life: Age, Identity, and Culture"; however, please note that this Poetry session is open to all papers with a focus on poetry and poetics.

Submissions go through the organization's website. To propose a paper, please submit: paper title, 500-word proposal, and 50-word abstract online: http://www.pamla.org/2013/proposals

Proposals due by April 15.
