The Institute for Language Education in Transcultural Context (ILETC) kindly invites you to participate in Growing LCTLs: A Forum for the Less Commonly Taught Languages at CUNY on May 3rd (all day) at the Graduate Center.

Confirmed Guest Lecturer (4pm-6pm): Dan E. Davidson, President of American Councils for International Education and Professor of Russian and Second Language Acquisition at Bryn Mawr College.

Whether you want to present an initiative, brainstorm a new idea, report on findings, share experiences or best practices, lead a discussion panel or a workshop, explore cross campus collaborations, present on advocacy, or find funding possibilities, send a brief proposal as a single file (.doc, .docx, or .pdf) including name(s), institutional affiliation(s) and email address(es), title, and abstract of no more than 300 words to iletc@gc.cuny.edu by April 10th, 2013, at noon.

Receipt of proposals will be acknowledged within the week and notifications of acceptance will occur no later than April 17th.
