Full Board at Rydal Hall is available at prices ranging from £600 to £880 (for ten nights), and at the adjacent Youth Centre from £450 (for ten nights). All participants will take all meals at Rydal Hall.

Non-resident registration: £90 per day, £360 for one part, £640 both parts (inclusive of lunch, dinner, excursions, receptions).

Call for Papers: we invite proposals for twenty-minute papers on all aspects of William Wordsworth, his contemporaries and the Romantic period. Papers that identify a bicentenary theme, 1813–2013, will be welcomed.

Our opening night will include a reception in the Wordsworth Museum followed by a candle light visit to Dove Cottage. There will be an opportunity to explore the treasures of the Wordsworth Trust’s collections with the curator Jeff Cowton, and to visit the Trust’s summer exhibition ‘Dorothy Wordsworth: Wonders of the Everyday’. Our excursions are likely to include the Wordsworth House at Cockermouth, the fine old coastal resort of Silloth, plus the remote vistas of the 'Solway Riviera', Furness Abbey ruins and Cartmel Priory. High points for energetic fell walkers will be ascents of Crinkle Crags, Red Screes and (on changeover day) Scafell Pike.

Proposals: 250 word proposals for papers of no more than 2750 words together with a brief autobiographical paragraph should occupy no more than 2 sides of A4 (they will be copied into a composite file). Please do not send as a pdf. E-mail to the Conference Director Nicholas Roe at wordsworthsummerconference@gmail.com by 15 April 2013. All other enquiries about accommodation, costs etc. should be e-mailed to the Conference Administrator, Stacey McDowell, at the same e-mail address.

Bursaries: Please see website for details of bursaries offered for the 2013 Conference.
