CFP: Growing LCTLs: A Forum for the Less Commonly Taught Languages at CUNY
The Institute for Language Education in Transcultural Context (ILETC) invites you to participate in Growing LCTLs: A Forum for the Less Commonly Taught Languages at CUNY on May 3rd at the Graduate Center.

This daylong event will include both traditional panel presentations and roundtable discussions, with participants from both educational and cultural institutions interested in promoting awareness of LCTLs and the development and expansion of programs devoted to teaching LCTLs. The scope of the forum is purposefully broad and varied: participants may present institutional initiatives or ideas to be brainstormed, report academic or experiential findings, or share experiences, projects, and practices related to teaching, cross-campus collaborations, advocacy, and funding possibilities. Please submit proposals as a single file (.doc, .docx, or .pdf) including your name(s), institutional affiliation(s) and email address(es), as well as the title of your contribution, a note on whether you prefer to join in a traditional panel or a roundtable discussion, and abstract of 300 words or less to email@example.com by April 22nd, 2013. Acknowledgement of received proposals will be prompt and notification of acceptance will occur no later than April 26th.
