Title: “Reshaping T. S. Eliot for the Future”

The T. S. Eliot Society of Korea is pleased to announce a call for proposals for its 2013 Fall T. S. Eliot Conference that is to be held in Koje, South Korea on October 11-12, 2013.
Founded in 1991, the T. S. Eliot Society of Korea has led scholarly discourses on the poetry, drama, critical essays, and criticism of T. S. Eliot. Dedicated to the holistic vision of global scholarship, the society encompasses many fields of inquiry, including philosophy, culture, and history, psychology, sociology, anthropology, politics, communication, and others.
Proposals on other topics related to the overarching theme of the conference will also be considered. Interdisciplinary perspectives and new research methodologies are especially welcome.
Proposals may be submitted as individual paper proposals or as session proposals. Individual proposals should include a brief abstract of no more than 250 words and a one-page CV.
Session proposals should include a one-page proposal with titles and topics for a session of three to four presentation papers along with individual abstracts and CV’s. Each presentation, delivered in either Korean or English, will be limited to twenty minutes followed by discussion and Q&A.
