We are inviting article submissions addressing the nature of Aboriginal storytelling to accompany a forthcoming collection of legends and stories from Cree storytellers. Papers may address topics concerned with Aboriginal storytelling, orality, and oral history or concern themselves with matters specific to Cree storytelling and cultures, especially those concerning Creation stories, trickster tales, and matters of contact. Furthering the study of Aboriginal cultures and literatures, this collection encourages multidisciplinary approaches from the academy. Presently, the University of Manitoba Press is expressing a keen interest in this volume.

Papers from all disciplines are welcome and should range from 15 - 25 pages in length. Bibliographic information should be presented in the standard disciplinary format.

Deadline: October 1, 2013.
