This event examines the book as material object in a world where ebooks are on the rise. The interdisciplinary approach brings together experts on the material book, ebooks, libraries, bindings, manuscripts, and book artists and includes a chance to see The Library of Lost Books exhibition. The conference is part of the celebration of the reopening of the Library of Birmingham following its £166m redevelopment.
