[UPDATE] CFP: The Cine-Files, open issue, August 30 deadline
The Cine-Files is now accepting submissions for its Fall 2013 open issue.
Submission Deadline: August 30, 2013.
Fall issues are open issues– we will consider submissions about any aspect of film history, criticism, and/or theory. Articles should be 5000-7000 words.
Please submit an electronic copy of the paper saved as a Microsoft Word file. The Cine-Files practices double blind review, so remove any identifying information from the article (doc attachment). In your accompanying email, please provide the article title, author's name, institutional affiliation and contact information. Articles should follow Chicago Manual of Style, 16th Edition.

The Cine-Files recently published issue 4, a special issue on mise-en-scene, featuring original work from guest scholars including V.F. Perkins, Lesley Stern, Adrian Martin, Girish Shambu, Jean Ma, Kristin Thompson, Christian Keathley, and John Gibbs, among others.
