The editor of a collection on Language Anxiety invites quality papers
from practitioners of language teaching/ teachers/ scholars. Themes may
Language Learner and anxiety
Anxiety as an Impediment
Anxiety as a facilitator
Good language learners and their strategies
Anxiety as a Social/cultural/psychological construct
The role and Affect of anxiety in language learning
The editor expects empirical research, based on observation. Article
length may be between 3,500-8,000 words and I would prefger MLA style. I
am looking forward to reading papers across languages and cultures.
Abstracts of 200-250 words due by 15 March 2009.
Full papers due by 11 June 2009.
