CFP Participants for Roundtable Discussion on Assessment Innovations at one day conference Mar. 1, 2014 in New Jersey
If you have experience in any aspect of assessing student learning, please join a roundtable discussion at the third annual Tri-State Best Practices Conference for college teachers in New York, New Jersey, and Pennsylvania. All are invited to submit proposals for discussion.
Some topics: institutional improvements via assessment; best practices in participating in college-wide committees and/or program reviews; using a contract approach to grading student work; using and/or creating rubrics; student peer and mentor reviews; portfolio and e-portfolio approaches; using collaborative technology, social media to assess and revise; peer review accreditation vs. federal management.
