submissions@albeitjournal.com

When you hear the word “horror” are you more likely to think Heart of Darkness or The Walking Dead? Let the Right One In or “The Turn of the Screw”?

For albeit’s inaugural issue, we invite articles, detailed lesson plans, book reviews, creative pieces, non-fiction essays, and other documents exploring horror in world literature, high art, and pop culture.

Complete submissions should be e-mailed to submissions@albeitjournal.com by January 1, 2014.

albeit may be found at www.albeitjournal.com and is a new internet literary journal focusing on the intersection between traditional scholarship and teaching documents. We seek to bring the scholarship to the students and offer professors and teachers documents easily fitted into existing syllabi. Each issue of albeit will feature articles, lesson plans, book reviews, and a syllabus.
