The theme of the 2015 Organization of American Historian Annual Meeting is "taboo." As such, I am looking to put together a panel on unconventional business in the US. My own work examines communes in the 20th century. Papers spanning the history of the US are welcome.

If you are interested in chairing, commenting or joining as a co-panelist, please contact me at rahima@gwu.edu. Please send a bio of no more than 500 words, and a prospectus of no more than 250 words no later than January 20, 2014.

Thanks for your time and interest!
