Call for Panels for the 24th International Sculpture Conference
The International Sculpture Center is now inviting entries for a Call for Panels for the 24th International Sculpture Conference: Sculpture, Culture, and Community in New Orleans, LA from October 1-4, 2014. The International Sculpture Center is seeking compelling panel proposals relating to Artistic Vision & Community Engagement, Art's Role in Cultural Revitalization, Contemporary Sculptural Practices, and other topics relevant to the working artist. Submissions must be 200 words and include a clear but brief statement of the panel objective, for those interested in serving as panel moderators during conference programming.

The deadline for panel submissions is April 11, 2014. Applicants will be notified in May 2014 as to the status of their submissions.
The 24th International Sculpture Conference: Sculpture, Culture, and Community will bring together artists, collectors, curators, arts administrators, critics, students, and sculpture enthusiasts for four days of panel discussions, artist talks, keynotes, workshops, mentoring sessions, optional tours, and networking events, and will explore how sculpture and the arts can rejuvenate communities and economies. Early bird registration is expected to open in Spring 2014.
The 24th International Sculpture Conference is hosted in collaboration with the Contemporary Arts Center New Orleans, New Orleans Arts District, Ogden Museum of Southern Art, Renaissance New Orleans Arts Hotel, and Sculpture for New Orleans.
