The 2014 Midwest Popular Culture Association Conference is organizing a panel on Arab-American Culture. This conference will take place at the JW Marriott in Indianapolis, IN on 3-5 October 2014. Topics can include--but are certainly not limited to--contemporary expressions of identity via cuisine, literature, media representations, museum displays. Historical case studies of Arab-American culture in the United States are also very welcome. The deadline for the submission of a 250 word abstract is 30 April 2014.
