The Conference on Educational Renewal and School Development in an Era
of Cultural Diversity will offer participants* a first hand look at
teacher education (including reform/response of teacher education to the
conference theme, school partnerships, and international teacher
* an opportunity to build collaborative networks and partnerships to
understand and lead school improvement, and
* insight into the leadership dimension so critical for education
reform in an era of cultural diversity.
* an opportunity to engage in a dialog examining social, economic and
individual equity issues through the framework of curriculum redesign
and instructional improvement. The Conference on Educational Renewal and
School Development in an Era of Cultural Diversity seeks proposals
presenting original research, reviews of relevant literature, action
research reports and descriptions of best practices. Those submitting a
proposal may choose between a paper session or panel discussion format.
Accepted proposals will also be given the opportunity to present to all
attendees in an interactive presenter forum.
All proposals will be submitted online
the form found on this page. All proposals will go through a blind,
peer-review process by the Conference Program Committee. The accepted
proposals will then be arranged into related groups and scheduled in the
space available. Acceptances will be emailed by November 15, 2007.
Registration fees must received by February 1, 2008 to retain your space
on the program.
Proposals should include: name and contact information for all
presenters, presentation type, relevance to the conference theme, brief
description (200-250 words for the website program), summary/abstract
(2-3 pages), and a brief biographical sketch.
