The South Central Society for Eighteenth-Century Studies will hold its
annual conference in Corpus Christi, Texas, February 5-8, 2009. Please
submit proposals for "Women and Medical Practices" to Phyllis Thompson at
thompsop_at_etsu.edu by December 30. Papers may address 18th c. medical
representations of the body, medicinal recipes and home healthcare, women
healers, the healing arts, medicine, and/or medical practices. The
proposal should give a title, a short description, your name, your
academic affiliation, and contact information.
