DEADLINE EXTENDED for call for papers on Women and Medical Practices to
be presented at The South Central Society for Eighteenth-Century Studies
Conference. Papers may address 18th c. medicinal recipes, home
healthcare, women healers, the healing arts, medical representations of
the body, medicine, and/or medical practices. The proposal should
include a title, a short description, your name, academic affiliation,
and contact information. Please submit proposals to Phyllis Thompson at
thompsop_at_etsu.edu by January 16th. This year's SCSECS conference will be
held in Corpus Christi, Texas, on February 5-8, 2009.
