CFP: [Ethnic] Ethnic and Race Studies (NEPCA)
The Northeast Popular/American Culture Association (NEPCA) is
seeking paper proposals on the topic of Ethnic and Race Studies for its
fall conference to be held at the University of Massachusetts Dartmouth,
North Dartmouth, MA on October 31 - November 1.
The deadline for proposals is June 15, 2008. Please e-mail
proposals of between 250 and 500 words to Sally Hirsh-Dickinson, Area
Chair of Ethnic and Race Studies at shirsh-dickinson_at_tds.net. A copy
should also be sent to the 2008 Program Chair Carol-Ann Farkas: carol-
ann.farkas_at_mcphs.edu.
Include a two or three sentence description of yourself, your background,
and your qualifications.

NEPCA presentations are generally 20 minutes in length and may be
delivered either formally or informally. NEPCA prides itself on holding
conferences which emphasize sharing ideas in a non-competitive and
supportive environment involving graduate students, junior faculty, and
senior scholars.
