CFP: [Ethnic] EGE UNIVERSITY 12TH INTERNATIONAL CULTURAL STUDIES SYMPOSIUM Redefining Modernism & Postmodernism

This symposium invites reconsideration of modernity, modernism and
postmodernism from literary, cultural and a wide range of
interdisciplinary aspects, aiming to broaden the current debates.

Panel proposals chaired by colleagues from different universities are
especially welcome, along with individual papers, roundtables, workshops
and performances either in English or Turkish. Please note that there
will be no translations during the symposium.

Topics might include but are not limited to:

The deadline for proposals: 19 December 2008

Notification for accepted papers: 15 January 2009
  

Please send a 250 word abstract for a 20 minute paper and a short bio (a
paragraph of around 50 words) in the form of an email "word" attachment
