CFP: Scope: Film Reviews (e-journal)

Scope, a fully refereed on-line journal of film studies edited by
staff and postgraduate students within the Institute of Film Studies
at the University of Nottingham, is looking for film reviews of about
1000/1500 words to be included in forthcoming issues. We are seeking
contributions on the movies listed below, but reviewers are welcome to
suggest other titles:

America's Sweethearts by Joe Roth
Bully by Larry Clark
Cats and Dogs by Lawrence Guterman
Enigma by Michael Apted
The Fast and the Furious by Rob Cohen
Fa Talai Jone (aka Tears of the Black Tiger) by Wisit Sartsanatieng
Final Fantasy: The Spirits Within by Hironobu Sakaguchi and Motonori Sakakibara
Ghosts of Mars by John Carpenter
Ginger Snaps by John Fawcett
Gohatto by Nagisa Oshima
Intimacy by Patrice Chereau
Josie and the Pussycats by Harry Elfont and Deborah Kaplan
Lagaan by Ashutosh Gowariker
Legally Blonde by Robert Luketic
Mulholland Drive by David Lynch
The Nine Lives of Thomas Katz by Ben Hopkins
101 Reykjavik by Baltasar Kormakur
The Parole Officer by John Duigan
The Princess Diaries by Garry Marshall
Sa Tree Lex (aka The Iron Ladies) by Yongyouth Thongkonthun
The Score by Frank Oz
Swordfish by Dominic Sena
Tillsammas (aka Together) by Lukas Moodysson

Retrospective reviews of older films will also be considered for
publication, especially if these films have just been released on video,
DVD, or they have been the focus of a renewed critical attention.

Scope aims at providing a forum for discussion of all aspects relating
to Film Studies and we welcome a wide range of critical approaches
and methodologies.
