Papers may be on one or more films of Hitchcock & Fellini, comparing &
contrasting OR on a single film of one of them, that can be compared or
contrasted during the discussion period.

All approaches welcome: gender, class, design, comparative, religious,
societal, psycho-analytical, biographic, or other -- including personal
response. While aspects of formal filmic may be included, preference
will be papers that emphasize substance rather than filmic form.

While Papers are expected to be of a professional nature, a true spirit
of informality is a mainstay of this panel. Must adhere strictly to a 12

in any language, but Abstracts & delivery on the panel of final papers
must be in English.

Video clips from Hitchcock's /The Birds /& /Frenzy/, and from Fellini's
/The City of Women /(/La citta` delle donne) /will hopefully be
available in the evening for after-dinner relaxing.
