BOND IS BACK
Original scholarly essays on emergent or under-analyzed aspects of
the 007 series are sought for the second edition of _The James Bond
Phenomenon: A Critical Reader_ (Manchester University Press). Essays
that engage innovatively and accessibly with current thinking in
critical theory and cultural/film studies are especially welcome.
Potential contributors are encouraged to consult the current edition
of the book to avoid duplication/overlap (details are available

The editor would particularly welcome proposals for essays addressing
any of the following topics:
-Issues of literature/film adaptation in _Casino Royale_
-The reinvention of Bond in the Daniel Craig era
-Bond in the 21st century
-Architecture in Bond
-Design and set production in Bond
-Bond and cyberculture
-Bond and video gaming
-Bond and visual culture (beyond film)
-The art of 007
