Call For Papers
Film Theory and Criticism

Seeking submissions of proposals for papers addressing aspects of film
theory and criticism, including but not limited to:

*Metafilm
*Metacriticism
*Film as criticism/Theory as text
*Historical approaches to theory/criticism
*Technologies (DVD commentaries or "extras", home theatre/Blu-ray/high
definition, internet databases, blogs, YouTube or other video sharing
applications) and their place in/effect on academic criticism

Please submit abstracts (200-300 words) to Carlen Donovan
(donocarl_at_isu.edu). Please include "RMMLA" in subject line.

Please include name, phone number, mailing
address, and institutional affiliation.

Deadline: March 29, 2008

Presenters will be notified by March 31.
Membership in RMMLA is required of all presenters by April 1. Requests for
Audio-Visual equipment are due by May 1.
