This Art Culture Nature conference addresses connections between time,
ecology, human history and the histories of the land.

ACN is an interdisciplinary organization which brings together artists,
environmentalists and educators in the humanities, arts, sciences and
social sciences who are interested in the study of the connections
between the arts and environmental studies.

The Art and Architecture Area of the American Culture Association
is seeking papers on any aspect of "Visual Culture of the Americas"
  for the annual conference in Boston, April 4 to 7, 2007.

Papers on topics related to questions of
identity, patriotism and nationalism
within the broader categories of
Latino, Native, African American and Canadian art and architecture
will be considered.

We are especially interested in papers which offer
  a cross-disciplinary perspective. Open sessions for papers
  on American arts of a less specific theme are also planned.
