For MLA 2007, the William Faulkner Society seeks proposals for papers on =
William Faulkner and his work from scholars who write from beyond the =
United States. We are especially interested in contributions from those =
whose perspectives stem from experiences and affiliations in the =
"southern" regions of the globe, i.e. the Caribbean and Latin America, =
Africa, the Middle East, Asia, and the Pacific. Papers may address any =
