Shakespeare Bulletin, the journal of performance criticism and scholarship, is
seeking articles for its Hands On Shakespeare slot. Essays should be written
from the perspective of someone materially involved in some aspect of the
stage or film production of Renaissance drama, and while they should be
intellectually rigorous, and both critically and theoretically informed, the

Lit addresses a general literate audience, we
encourage essays unburdened by excessive theoretical
