Papers On February 23rd - 25th, 2006, the Center for the Study of the Korean War will hold its 7th Annual Conference on War and Media at the Hilton Garden Inn of Independence, Missouri. Each year Graceland University sponsors the conference as an opportunity for scholars, students, veterans, and anyone interested to gather and share information, questions, stories, and academic papers concerning the reporting of war. Papers focus on issues relating to war in general, with at least one session on the Korean War. The theme for the upcoming conference is War and Propaganda.

"What is Global Ethics and how to research it?"

The conference is hosted by the Center for Ethics & Value Inquiry (CEVI) at
Ghent University, Belgium.

AIM OF THE CONFERENCE

The conference brings together scholars in various disciplines (philosophy,
ethics, sociology, geography, international relations, anthropology,
political science, .) on the theme of 'global ethics'. The aim of the
conference is to create a forum where various approaches and issues in
researching 'Global Ethics' are discussed.
