rivaled by transnationalism and globalization, the relevance of the
Caribbean persists. Panels and papers are invited from all disciplines.
The following topics will be of interest, although no one should be
restricted by them: Diasporas, migration, indigenous peoples, race and

and roundtables for our conference theme of: "Strategies for
teaching, learning and scholarship in literature and composition".
Topics might
include: articulation, licensure, two- and four- year institutions,
cohorts, pedagogy, technology, composition, upper-division writing,
rhetoric, literature, secondary and post-secondary institutions,
