Meyer of DePaul University, this series offers emerging and experienced scholars the opportunity to present alternative (point/counterpoint) readings and approaches to classic texts that have received canonical acceptance in American or Continental literature.

IFE STUDIES IN ENGLISH LANGUAGE (ISEL)
ISEL is published by the Department of English,
Obafemi Awolowo University, Ile-Ife, Nigeria. The
journal is published twice in a year in May and
December. Although the journal would publish articles
in all areas of English Language studies, it gives
priority to those with a bias towards Africa and other
non-native contexts.
The journal is soliciting articles and book reviews
for publication in the next issue, which will be
published in May, 2007. Every article must contain an
abstract of not more than 250 words together with 8 –
10 key words. The paper should have sub-divisions,
references and notes, where necessary.
