CFP: Children in/and Literature in the Long 18th Century (10/15/06; SCSECS, 2/22/07-2/24/07)
I am inviting proposals for the panel "Childhood and Children's Literature in the Long Eighteenth Century" at the 2007 South Central Society for Eighteenth-Century Studies conference to be held in Tulsa, OK, February 22-24, 2007. The panel welcomes papers that address portrayals of children in literature, pedagogical texts for children, childhood literacy, issues of censorship/editing in texts designed for children, etc. during the Restoration and eighteenth century.
