      Welcome to M/C/T a journal/e-zine concerned with Media, Culture and
Technology. M/C/T is a new journal for a new medium for a new millenium.

      M/C/T encourages writing that challenges given assumptions about the
information society. We seek to analyse, critique, probe and raise
questions about the intersecting vectors of media, culture and technology.
We invite our readers to join in the conversation and write for M/C/T. We

_Postscript: A Journal of Graduate Criticism and Theory_, is a journal
put out annually by the graduate students at the Department of English
at Memorial University of Newfoundland, for graduate students'
interdisciplinary academic work. Submitted essays are subjected to
blind review, and are reviewed by either graduate students or faculty
members, depending on the area of specialization.

Screen", viz. how the myths and the history had been represented in

The Wisconsin Review of African Literatures

Voices is a forum for exploring issues of written and oral artistic
production in Africa and the Diaspora in relation to the continent.
Submissions that stretch and challenge such disciplinary boundaries are
welcome and will be considered for publication. We will distribute copies
of Voices to American universities with interest in African studies, and to
African institutions which may have more difficulty in
maintaining/developing their collections of research in African literature.

Dr. Philip C. Kolin, Professor of English at the Univ. of Southern
Mississippi and the General Editor of the Garland Shakespeare Criticism
Series, is soliciting one-page proposals for 25 page essays on Othello
for a future collection on the play. He wants proposals on papers that
deal directly and theoretically with race, representation, gender and
genre as well as performance. Send just a one-page proposal to him via
fax at 601-266-5757.

AMERICAN CULTURE THOUGH HISTORY is a series of
books edited by Ray B. Browne and Larry Kreiser for The
Greenwood Press. The Editors hereby solicit suggested book
topics for the 16-book series. Authors will have 15 to 24 months
to complete their manuscripts.

The stated mission of the series is to provide an overview of American
popular culture through the eras and decades of our history so that teachers
and student will be able to observe trends in the many areas
listed below and to learn how each evolved into the popular culture
or our time.
