session) on any aspect of Geoff Ryman's work. I am especially =

  The conference runs from April 4-7.

YOUNG RESEARCHERS PANEL
CALL FOR PAPERS
        
The Burney Society is seeking participants for the Young Researchers panel
at its conference to be held in Windsor, 6-7 July 2007. Undergraduate and
graduate students are invited to submit abstracts for 15-20 minute papers on
Frances Burney's Court Journals (1786-91) or any related subject. The panel
will consist of papers given by four young scholars and Professor Audrey
Bilger (Claremont McKenna College) will act as respondent. Papers will be
chosen by a panel headed by Fiona Ritchie (McGill University).

Papers are sought for a proposed panel for the National Women's Studies
Association Summer 2007 conference to be held in St. Charles, Illinois. If
selected, the panel will be part of the embedded conference sub-theme on
(Im)Migration and Mobility. The panel, tentatively titled, "Bridging the
Body Gap: Mobilizing Embodied Activism for Im(Migrant) Equity," seeks to
examine (im)migration with a particular emphasis on the body. In
particular, the panel seeks to interrogate how (im)migrant bodies are coded
as racialized bodies, 'alien' bodies, threatening bodies, 'illegal' bodies,
