CALL FOR PAPERS: Slayage.tv's 'Watcher Junior'

Lynne Edwards (Editor) and Katy Stevens (Associate Editor) of Watcher
Junior, invite your submissions for the first issue of WJ, a refereed,
electronic journal for undergraduate student scholarship in Buffy
Studies. WJ is located at Slayage: The Online International Journal of
Buffy Studies (http://www.slayage.tv).

Completed essays and research papers will be reviewed by members of the
board and will be accepted for publication if three reviewers
approve.  Essays that do not receive approval for publication will be
returned with feedback for re-submission.

The program committee invites one-page abstracts of proposed twenty-minute papers on topics in European and Mediterranean history, literature, art, and religion from the fourth to the seventeenth centuries. Interdisciplinary work is particularly appropriate to the conference's broad historical and disciplinary scope. Planned sessions are welcome.

LiNQ (Literature in North Queensland) is a long-running journal
published in May and October by the Dept.of Humanities at JCU (Qld,
Australia). LiNQ seeks submissions of short fiction, poetry and
essays/thinkpieces from both publsihed and new authors. Poetry in the
original language is especially welcome and will be printed with a
facing page translation. B/W photos and illustrations are welcome.
