eSharp is an award-winning online journal for postgraduates in the fields of arts, humanities, social sciences and education. It is peer-reviewed, based at the University of Glasgow and aims to provide a critical but supportive entry into the world of academic publishing.
The first eight issues are currently online at www.sharp.arts.gla.ac.uk and we are now looking for submissions for the ninth edition to be launched in Spring 2007. We welcome papers from postgraduates working in all areas of the social sciences, arts, humanities and education.

Memphis seek submissions for their second annual colloquium, "Race and =
the Post-Civil Rights South," March 28-29, 2007. Keynote speakers will =
be Adolph Reed and Kenneth Warren. Please send all inquiries or =
proposals to lduck_at_memphis.edu. The deadline for 250-500 word abstracts =
of 30-minute papers is January 12, 2007. Selected papers will be =
published in a special issue of the journal Patterns of Prejudice.

This section welcomes essays on the Protean nature of theatre, the
definition of theatre, theatrical events outside of the traditional
theatre space, the use of history, current events, popular culture, and
technology in plays both now and in the past, theatre and political
activism, politics as theatre, theatre's future, and theatre's effects

The Humanities and Technology Association invites submissions to its annual journal, *Humanities and Technology Review* (HTR) for Autumn, 2007.
HTR offers a publication outlet for interdisciplinary articles on a broad range of themes addressing the interface between the humanities and technology. HTR is a refereed journal, and all decisions will be made by the assessing editors, the editorial advisory board and the chief editors. Commentaries and responses to individual articles and reviews are welcome.
