CFP: All's Well that ends Well (June 30/04; abstracts or proposals for a
volume of essays in major series)

I am looking for proposals and abstracts (not full papers at this stage) for
consideration for an edited volume on Shakespeare's All's Well that Ends
Well. A session at the 2006 SAA meeting in Philadelphia will also be
proposed. Proposals and Abstracts can be fairly informal but preferable
should be about 500 words and should be sent by June 30, 2004. Deadline for
accepted proposals will be Summer 2005.

Celebrity Culture will represent a significant intervention in the field
on a number of different levels. Essentially, what we are proposing here is
a book which brings together approaches to stardom and celebrity which
range across historical periods, media forms and national contexts - as
well as disciplinary borders and modes of enquiry (film, television, music,
sport, Internet, print media). The book aims to bring together a broad
range of essays which address the contemporary, cross-media and
international landscape of today?s fame culture.

publishes scholarship that examines the narratives underlying individual,

Michigan's Scholarly Publishing Office to transform itself into an audio-,
graphic-, and video-enhanced web-based journal that can make available the new
forms and subjects of contemporary critiques of identity, as well as more

The Journal of Commonwealth and Postcolonial Studies

seeks submissions for a special issue devoted to the

Intellectual and Political Legacy of Edward Said

Papers may engage any aspect of Edward Said's work in relation to
Commonwealth and postcolonial studies, taking up theoretical, literary,
pedagogical, or other topics.

Preferred length is 4,000-5,000 words. MLA format.

The author should not identify him/herself in the essay.

The Journal for the Academic Study of Magic, a multidisciplinary,
peer-reviewed print publication, is seeking submissions for its third
