'Ealing Revisited'
The six volumes of the Harry Potter series are filled with both fantasy and
things we can describe as fantastic. This session is designed to explore
those elements in more depth. Please submit a proposal of no more than 250
words by 4/1/06 to phuey_at_ut.edu (please put "SAMLA" in the subject line) or
by mail to Dr. Peggy J Huey, Box 53F, University of Tampa, 401 W. Kennedy
Blvd., Tampa, FL 33606.

For the MLA's Options for Teaching series, the Publications Committee has approved development of the volume Teaching Literature and Law, edited by Austin Sarat, Cathrine Frank, and Matthew Anderson. As currently projected, the volume has four sections: 1) theory and history of the Law and Literature movement, 2) model courses, 3) texts, and 4) resources. Submissions are welcome from faculty in diverse fields (i.e., literatures in English and other languages, law, art, film, history, philosophy, and the social sciences).
