Faculty members (and interested students) are invited to contribute to sessions on topics relating to World War I and World War II to be presented at the 2006 Conference of the National Popular Culture Association, which will be held April 12-15, 2006, at the Atlanta Marriott Marquis Hotel in Atlanta, Georgia.

2006 NEMLA conference in Philadelphia, PA. March 02 - March 05, 2006

The session will examine texts by any exiled writer from any country,
dealing with the literary representation of exile.
Papers may focus on exile as a form of modern alienation, as a metaphor
for psychic difference, as an allegory of separation or on modern
exilic politics and emigre conditions.
