  Studies in political science appear in nearly all of Heinlein's novels and short stories, wherein he could challenge the political structures of his day and explore the possibilities of what governments of the future might be like. All topics related to political science are welcome. Suggested topics include:
  --Citizenship (the right of; the responsibilities of; methods of earning)

  Throughout the mid-to-late 20th century, Robert A. Heinlein stirred up controversy with his various treatments of human sexuality. From S-groups to a particular brand of free love best described as "the gates are locked and it's nobody's business," Heinlein challenged our thinking about gender and sexuality like few authors before or since.
   
  Suggested topics include (but are not limited to):

  Legal proceedings and the interplay among lawyers, litigants, judges, and society as a whole take center stage in a number of Heinlein's short stories and novels, including "Life-Line," "Jerry Was a Man," _I Will Fear No Evil_, _Stranger in a Strange Land_, and _The Moon is a Harsh Mistress_, among others.
