RiLUNe - Review of Literatures of the European Union
RiLUnE (http://www.rilune.org) is a refereed bilingual journal publishing scholarly articles which examine the development of a European cultural and literary conscience.

For its 5th monographic issue, we are now calling for articles on the topic "Digital Literatures in Europe: State of the Art". Articles can be in any of the following languages of the European Union: French, German, English, Italian and Spanish.

Due to many requests the deadline has been extended to Jan. 20th.

This workshop is interdisciplinary. Philosophical and
critical investigations into the misuse and abuse of
computing artifacts are wanted--including literary
investigations. The workshop organizers are also
working towards journal and book publications in addition

for Mid-Atlantic Popular Culture/Ameerican Culture Association Oct. 27-28 2006.
Particularly interested in papers on Mel Gibson's The Passion, the Left Behind
Series by Tim LaHaye, and the conservative religious critique of modern

M/C Journal is looking for new contributors. M/C is a crossover journal
between the popular and the academic, and a blind- and peer-reviewed
journal.

The 2006 Pacific Ancient and Modern Language Association (PAMLA)
Conference will be held at The University of California, Riverside on
November 3 and 4 and will have as its special topic Transoceanic
Dialogues. Several sessions will be devoted to literary and philological
aspects of this topic. We invite papers in areas such as, but not
limited to, the following: transoceanic dialogues in a particular
period, genre, or movement (i.e. the Renaissance, the novel,
Romanticism); transoceanic racial, colonial, or postcolonial encounters;
the maritime, navigation, and cartography in literature; the cabinet of
curiosities; transoceanic cultural and linguistic exchanges;

University Press. We are currently looking for theatre reviewers to
contribute to the Summer, Fall, and Winter 2006 issues. Reviews are
assigned by the theatre review editor and generally run 1000-2000 words.

The 2006 GCWS conference is an event organized by graduate students for
graduate students working in the field of Women's and Gender Studies. It
is a 2-day event where students and faculty will gather to present and
discuss cutting-edge student work, workshop ideas, and network to share
skills and resources and build community. We are currently
inviting proposals
for three presentation formats: Individual Paper, Pre-Formed Panel, and
Poster Session.
