Revista de Estudios Norteamericanos. Contributions are invited for its 2004
volume. Published annually in English by the University of Sevilla in
collaboration with SAAS (Spanish Association for American Studies), this
publication caters for an academic readership and is devoted to the study of
North American Literature. It includes a wide range of chronological and
methodological approaches covering from traditional, historical and
scholarly research to the latest trends in criticism. This journal publishes

democratic elections in April 1994, Safundi is publishing a double-issue of
its journal.

We encourage any scholar or professional to submit a paper for publication.

Americana: The Journal of American Popular Culture (1900-present) is accepting
submissions for the spring edition of its peer-reviewed e-journal until

Points of Entry, a journal dedicated to publishing critical examinations
on and original pieces of narrative literary journalism, is seeking book
reviews on examples of the genre for its third issue, due out in Fall
2004. The reviews should be between 1,000 and 1,500 words in length. The
deadline for the next issue is May 1, 2004, but reviews will be accepted
on a continuing basis for future issues. The journal encourages narrative
writing in journalism by serving as an arena for exchange between
journalists, teachers, students and storytellers. The reviews may be on
either contemporary or historical examples of the genre. If historical,

Le 2 août 2004, James Arthur Baldwin aurait célébré ses quatre-vingts
ans. A l'occasion de cet anniversaire, la revue LISA de l'Equipe de
recherche "Littérature et civilisation des pays de langue anglaise" de
l'Université de Caen souhaiterait lui rendre hommage en réunissant des
textes abordant le thème de la rencontre - réelle, virtuelle ou
symbolique - avec l'écrivain. En donnant priorité aux rencontres
effectuées dans un contexte français (pris au sens large), ce recueil
de textes se voudra témoignage de la vivacité du legs baldwinien dans
